Ways to destroy old hard drives

The fine folks over at PC Pro had reviewed a device called the “Bust A Drive“.  Apparently this led to a massive firestorm of comments including may ways to destroy a hard drive.  This has apparently led to a new article, PC Pro’s top 10 hard disk destruction methods.

I prefer #2, as I’ve got an angle grinder at home, although #3 does sound like fun.  Maybe I’ll try that next time.  I do have a little butane torch sitting in the garage.
